RENO, NV -- The Rusty Spoon, a local dive, has been receiving negative reviews on Yelp at an alarmingly high rate. The blame for the recent influx of subpar experiences rests solely on the shoulders of the Back of House. None of the servers have been able to get an order the way they put it in. They are also unable to determine what exactly is in or on any of the dishes the kitchen gives them. The BOH has maintained a strict “I don’t have to justify myself to you” policy for several weeks now. This has resulted in three servers quitting out a sheer frustration.

“I don’t know why we were never doing this before. It’s amazing,” Brad, line cook at The Rusty Spoon, said to Sauce OTS, “I mean, sure, we weren’t giving them any useful information to begin with, but now we don’t have to do anything for them. My job has never been easier.” When asked why he wasn’t intervening on the Front of House and his restaurant’s behalf, the owner of The Rusty Spoon simply responded: “The kitchen crew scares me, and I’m pretty sure they’d walk out if I did say something to them.” As it stands, The Rusty Spoon is losing customers left and right, and several servers plan on putting their two weeks in tomorrow.
