LOS ANGELES, CA -- Days Of Our Fries, a new soap opera about restaurant life, has just been greenlit for production. The show will consist of a 35 episode season, with an option to be renewed for six additional seasons. It’s plot will focus on the various lives of employees at The Drunken Fish. The show’s writer, Craig Davidson, promises suspense, drama, sex, and a dizzying amount of love triangles, circles, and rhombi. A cast has yet to be announced, due to issues finding the appropriate amount of tattoos and dead eyes. Production of Days Of Our Fries is set to begin in the fall of this year.

Sauce OTS was able to gain an exclusive interview with Craig Davidson. Here’s what he had to say: “Looking around, I was struggling to find anything that paralleled the level of melodrama in the service industry. People are just so deeply involved in every detail of each other’s lives, I had never seen anything like it before. Our main female protagonist, Courtney, Is inspired by three different waitresses that I’ve worked with. You can bet that she’s going to be blacking out and causing trouble for everyone else left and right. Our first episode has her breaking up with her boyfriend, hooking up with the bartender, and then getting back together with him because she doesn’t want to move her stuff out of their apartment. The show practically writes itself.”
